Carlo's Sit-Down Buffet Birthday Dinner
It was a looong day for me because of attending the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Pampanga. So it was nice to cap off the day by celebrating Carlo’s birthday at Zensho in Tomas Morato. We didn’t have the predicament to choose either to have a sit-down dinner or buffet because in Zensho, it’s both. Yaaay!
It’s the weekend before Valentine’s. (Irrelevant. Lol.)
We...

A Weekend Of Everything That Flies
Because I’m very slow and outdated. Hehe.
I went to Pampanga with some office friends to finally attend the ever so hyped Hot Air Balloon Festival. I was expecting heat wave, dust and huge crowd. Not to mention the early call time and long walks.
We arrived at around 8 in the morning, unfortunately. It only means that we missed the highlight of the event. So much for waking up too early....

Brew-Haha
Found another hole-in-the-wall along Valero!
Normally, while going to or from Paseo Center I would just ignore Brew-Kus. It seems uninteresting because the place is not crowded at night.
But I had the chance to have lunch there one time with the SHI peeps because we all wanted to try something new.
With Trix.
Arlin and Aileen.
Julianne and Felix.
Jai and Ken.
Paul and Macky.

Pumbaka In Baguio
We arrived at around 3 AM. I wasn’t aware. I was half-asleep the entire time we arrived. I even welcomed the caretaker sleeping my ass off when she opened the van.
It was freezing cold that even my leather jacket can’t provide me enough warmth. The only thing that’s on my mind that time was I need to continue my sleep.
So I slept again
I dreamed of love.
Then I woke up.

Commercial Break
This kickoff lunch is not official because we’re not complete. Boooo!
When I can’t get someone to take a photo of me, I would just normally get a picture of my shoes. Not that it’s an alternative to my face. It’s more of an alternative of who I am. (Whoooa. Ocean deep.)
I know. They’re dying. But that makes Blackberry more precious than iPhone. Because...

Sinful Night in Pampanga
Stopped over in Pampanga to have dinner. I was planning on having a simple, light and calorie-free meal. But then, we went to Jun Jun’s.
With the bunch of people I was with in the van. My camera has a mind its own. It can adjust the ISO setting manually by itself. Uuuugggh. I’m having issues with my camera lately.
My office mates ordered food that requires eating lots of...

Vandemonium
Spent six, seven or eight hours of chaos and love in the van going to Baguio for department planning and not so planning. We traveled in two batches and I went with the better half of the team. Bwahahaha. Kidding.
It was nighttime but everything was in Velvia.

The Plantation x The One That Got Away
On our very last day as teammates, we forced ourselves once again for the very last time to bear a couple of hours and spend lunch together to relive the almost 5 months of withstanding the attitude we’ve been giving to each other. As we call it, our “plastican lunch”. Haha.
It wasn’t the right time to experiment with the aperture and ISO. Uuuggh. I knew it would...

Whistle After Dinner
We’re just too lazy to go home. After Mark’s despedida dinner, we went out to explore the wonders of Makati for the nth time to look for a place where we could hang out. And I promised Joyshee to meet up at midnight.
Our goal was just to have a steady night. We didn’t want to get wasted. And I was craving for chocolate milkshake.
With Hans and Richie. We were teasing...

Drama No More
I can’t remember the last time I laughed this hard. It was just an ordinary dinner out. Or not. Hehe.
Maybe because of Kenji Tei. The name of the restaurant sounds like a bekimon expression. Haha. Like sinetch itey.
Or maybe because Val was there. It’s been so long since I had dinner with her. We were the loudest table because of her. Haha. Pointing fingers.
Jewel on cutie...

Mark's Despedida
We started everything this way, we got to end everything this way. It was our last Friday night with Papi as an office mate. But definitely not our last night out.
I will remember Mark for three things. He is one of the most level-headed people I know. (That’s why he’s our Papi. Haha.) He is the son of the mayor. (That’s why his last name is Basmayor. Lolz.)...

Caleruega in Cross Process
Our Caleruega trip happened right after our Tagaytay trip. Thus, the familiar outfits. Caleruega for me is the more intimate, more peaceful and more spiritual version of Luneta. In short, Luneta in steroids. It’s a perfect place for clingy couples who would eventually break up in the very near future. (Before the end of the world, that is. Like December 21, 2012.)
I was contemplating...

A Not So Fine Day
I just found myself one day being stuck on the same set of people. Or did they just found themselves being stuck on me? Haha. (I’m not being emo. I’m saying this in jest. #truestory)
Chi praying before meal.
James’ favorite pose.
True love. #sabeeeh
It was cloudy. It was foggy. It was drizzling. That’s why I didn’t get the 168 sunglasses. Nyaha.

Us vs. Vikings
The original plan was lunch at Dampa. But while we were in the cab contemplating about life and Christmas, Carlo said what if Vikings. I seconded the motion from out of the blue. Ika was left with no choice. So there. We went to Vikings.
We have gone through a lot before making it to Vikings. We had to tolerate the annoying taxi driver. We had to take a long walk from MOA while it was...

Over The Last 12 Months...
Released or not released this year, it doesn’t matter. This is how I look back. My year-end playlist:
A not so happy ending but overall, I actually thought 2011 was my year. Hehe. Happy new year, everyone!

O&B Christmas Party 2011
Posting for the sake of posting. Haha. Photodumping starts now!
Juno and Aizia. Aizia got me as the receiver of her gift for the Kris Kringle. I opened it last Christmas and it was perfect! Thanks, Aizia.
Richie in the shadows. That’s why his skin tone seemed less fairer. Ahihi.

With The Unkabs Again
Not that I want to turn back time. I was on a fast lane during the last few months. I just miss myself in those times when having a fun lunch meant pigging out at North Park, when Chocolate Fire was our first choice in every sweet craving and when we were just each other’s routine. (Sounds a bit emo. Ahihi.)
I just want to remember the state of my mind 6 months ago. But...

8065 Bagnet
I was hesitant to try when I first heard of it. I’m not a fan of crispy pata, bagnet, lechon kawali and the like. Just the thought of it gives me a neck pain even though my blood pressure has always been normal.
I’m not a fan of these two either but I went with them. Haha. James getting sleepy as usual. Estele unconsciously doing the Naomi pose.
The place is artsy fartsy. There...

SHI Christmas Party
There was no mobile bar. But it was perfectly fine. My primary goal was just to hang out and see how the people in the client’s office roll. Hehe.
Trixie rolled in the deep. Bwahahaha. She was wearing JK. Made by Jai’s sister.
Estele’s “outfit” shot. Haha. Her pair of shoes was the best part.
When in doubt, wear a leather jacket.
Yasah didn’t want me...

Forever Lunch
This one deserves an entry because, first, I finally figured out why all my shots were so blurry. It’s all because of the ISO setting! Tsk.
Secondly, it’s my first time to eat at Pho Hoa even though my impression was it’s just the same with Pho 24. I wasn’t that excited to eat at first.
And lastly, we went out with Noli! It’s been a while.
Surprisingly, food...

Dillingers
I’m considering this my Christmas lunch with Kathrene because unfortunately she missed the company’s Christmas party.
Thanks to the promo from Dealgrocer, Metrodeal, ek-ek. I don’t know where she got the voucher. Kathrene’s new hobby is to monitor all the online promos.
We arrived early. The place opens at 12 NN. They let us order anyways. I tried to convince...

Chie's 21st
Chie’s birthday treat last last Friday night in Eastwood!
We were comparing the size of the utensils to the size of my phone. #random
Chie treated us to dinner at Friday’s.
We arrived at around 11:30 PM. We were staaaarving.
But there’s too much food. We’re so full.
Chie and his so-called friends. Haha.
Papi, James and Claire.
Thanks again, Chie!

Team Delta's First Lunchout
Even though we are going through a lot of emotional struggles and pain because we have to endure at least the presence of each other everyday, we still have decided to go out for lunch together as a team. Finally! Haha.
Robbie’s silhouette. I can only take good pictures of people when they are looking at the menu. Sigh.
Trix and her food. I don’t usually eat shrimp because...

Komiko
It’s always frustrating to take pictures in dim light. I did a lot of experimentation with the setting but nothing good came out. Pffft. At least I captured the moment. And I’m glad that I got to hang out with Kathrene again and with Poch this time. Kathrene and I went to Keg in Fort Strip to support the album launch of Poch and his bandmates. Their band is called...

Not Another Wii Night
Wii night with the 7th floor peeps at the head office! It was the sequel of the first Wii night at Edge’s place.
It was nice to show them a glimpse of how people in our office have fun.
We attended because it doesn’t happen often. Mj sitting, waiting, wishing.
The rock band area.
Estele’s Naomi pose.
The 7th floor peeps.
This should happen again. And...

Blue & Yellow
It’s been a year since the first light show in Ayala Triangle began. At least to my knowledge. And that time was my first time to explore the new establishments in the area. I could still remember those days like it was yesterday. Life is fast like a slide show.
There were more lights this year, I think. They were all shining for me. But they’re not true. Because they’re not...

Stroll In The Park
It’s been a very long while since I visited Luneta. I can’t even remember the last time. And why would I even think of going there. I’m single. Haha.
We went there to support Jc’s vision of having an awesome photo to level up his portfolio. I just didn’t get why he chose Estele as his model. Maybe he was up for a real challenge. Ahihi.

From A VSFS Know-It-All
While watching the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2011:
Adriana was shown first in the opening billboard. Then, Doutzen. Then, Miranda. Perfect order. Like.
Why did they pick Candice to open the show? Starlet. Ew. Weak entrance. I miss Gisele.
Wow. The Pretty Reckless’ Makes Me Wanna Die is playing on the background.

Fuuuuuuuuuriday
Just another spontaneous Friday night.
We went to Happy Lemon because milk tea is a fad.
Everybody ordered cocoa with rock salt and cheese. We settled for the so-called best.
I asked for extra cheese because I’m extra cheesy. #wheresthesenseinthat
Estele was a happy lemon.
We had Sango for dinner.
Papi was teaching us lessons about love.
Two out of two. 100%. Boom!

Katsudon
I had a dilemma where to eat dinner days ago with Kim at The Podium because I was craving for both pork chop noodle soup and katsudon. If I choose pork shop noodle soup, we have to eat at Shi Lin. If katsudon, we have to go to Yaku. I was about to choose Shi Lin because pork chop noodle soup is rarer but we found out it’s already closed.
Therefore, Yaku. Dried anchovies for appetizer.

Three Truths & A Lie
I wanted to watch Won’t Last A Day Without You (starring Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson) because I grew up listening to The Carpenters.
Jewel invited the three of us because she is a Sarah Geronimo fan ever since college and she wanted to watch it on the first day of showing.
Fernando kept giggling every scene especially the part when Sarah Geronimo dressed up like a care bear.
